What a better way to start the month by giving and receiving awards? I was thrilled to sign online the other day (and again today) and discover that I was given the “I <3 your blog” award by A Guy’s Moleskin Notebook and by Life and Times of a “New” New Yorker, and to lovingly pass the honor along to some of my favorite blogs I’ve discovered over the past year:
Nymeth at Things Mean A Lot A fellow “Pratcheteer” who regularly peaks my interest in unheard of authors and titles.
books i done read My enjoyment of this blog and blogger is no secret. With wry, wit, and honesty, I always find an excellent post.
Lit Connection Perhaps my first blogging “contact,” this blog is always posting on fabulous and mostly contemporary works. Often the reviews/opinions are represented visually in collage style, which is a unique and stunning way to portray a book.
Estella at Tripping Toward Lucidity Estella’s blog is a mish-mash of mostly book related posts and always an interest to read.
Life and Times of a “New” New Yorker Great reviews, great books, and great pictures of New York City. (I nominated this faboo blogger before I knew I was nominate in return! Great minds, eh?)
Asylum Always with in-depth and insightful reviews, this blogger is perhaps a bit out of the “I <3 Your Blog” range, but he has such amazing taste that I couldn’t leave him off the list.
Bookstorm Like the blogger mentioned above, this is a bit more of a streamlined and professional-like blogger who always delivers a well-written and thought provoking post.
